The delicately flavored uniform, dark green, main heads grow to 9 inches. Holds tight beads longer than most varieties. The tall, upright plants produce many side shoots after the main head has been harvested. It is very tolerant to cool weather and one of the most adaptable varieties. Easy to grow and a wonderful addition to a healthy diet, high in vitamin C and A, as well as compounds that help reduce the risk of cancer. Tolerant to downy mildew. A variety tested in Alaska and on the recommended variety list from the University of Alaska Cooperative Extension.
