The only large, open pollinated, round headed cabbage that is really early. The short stemmed, compact, vigorous plants have few outer leaves so they may be grown close together. A variety that produces uniform, solid heads, 6 to 8 inch in diameter that will weigh as much as 5 pounds and the heads are not inclined to split at maturity. Stores well. Midseason.
