An midseason, open pollinated, large podded, dwarf variety that sets 2 pods at each node and produces dark green, plump 4 to 4 1/2 inch pods containing 9 peas each. The medium dark green 18 to 24 inch vines do not have to be trellised. The plants have resistance to powdery mildew, pea enation virus and bean yellow mosiac virus. A productive variety that grows well in Alaska and is great when eaten fresh or canned and is an excellent freezer variety. Peas grown during Alaska's long summer days have a higher sugar content making them sweeter than those grown elsewhere. Midseason.
