NEW in 2011 The first stringless Snap Pea developed. A very productive, open pollinated, main season variety that produces stringless pods that are similar to Sugar Snap but are a little more slender and darker green. The dwarf 24 to 30 inch vines produce 2 3/4 to 3 1/2 inch double pods that have thick flesh, at nodes near the top of the plant for easy harvest. A very heavy yielder that has good disease resistance. Vines need support. Excellent eaten fresh, in salads, for Chinese cooking or as shelled peas. This is our favorite snap pea!
