Squash
Squash, including Zucchinni and other varieties of summer squash, is a warm weather crop that likes a lot of heat but the variety testing program at Denali Seed Company and the University of Alaska has tested and selected several varieties of zucchinni that produce well in nearly all areas of Alaska. Winter squash will mature fruits only in the warm interior areas of Alaska.
