NEW in 2011 An early, very heavy producing hybrid zucchini in university trials at Fairbanks, Alaska that provides smooth, cylindrical fruits that are medium to deep green in color with dark scribbling. This variety is a prolific producer of firm, tender fruits that are mild and sweet with nutty flavor and are best when picked immature, about 8 inches long. Fruits are borne on a very open bush type plant with few spines for easy harvest, making this variety well suited for home gardens. An early heavy producing hybrid that is perfect for Alaska's cool summer weather. In Alaska zucchini seed MUST be germinated indoors in plastic pots then the seedlings are transplanted to the garden after the last frost. Midseason harvest.
